Enhanced Fax Server Hardware

The FaxPress Enterprise builds on FaxPress Premier hardware features and has been significantly enhanced to improve performance.  To better support customers in a Microsoft Windows 2003 environment, FaxPress Enterprise includes Microsoft's Windows Server 2003 based SAK 3.0. Castelle has also replaced the processor with an Intel Pentium 4 processor, and upgraded the internal memory to 1 GB.

FaxPress Enterprise T1

The FaxPress Enterprise T1 can be installed with either a fractional T1 board to provide 8 channels across a fractional T1 line, or one to three T1 fax boards to support from 24 to 72 channels across a T1 line(s). 

FaxPress Enterprise E1 and ISDN

For international markets, FaxPress Enterprise is available in an E1 configuration with support for fractional E1 or full E1 up to 90 channels, and ISDN configurations from 2 to 24 channels per server. FaxPress Enterprise E1 and ISDN configurations incorporate V.34 protocol with transmission speeds up to 33.6 KB/s for sending and receiving faxes simultaneously on all channels.

FaxPress Plus™ 4.0 Software

Coinciding with the release of FaxPress Enterprise, Castelle has also introduced a new software suite that operates on FaxPress Enterprise and FaxPress Premier fax servers.  FaxPress Plus™ offers all the same features as FaxPress Premier 4.0 software, in addition to the capability to operate on the new fax server hardware system.  Going forward, FaxPress Plus will be the primary software suite for customers with FaxPress Enterprise or FaxPress Premier fax servers.
